Psychodiagnostics of Social Cognition Disorders in Mental Disorders: Search for New Methods

Abstract

The paper conducted a pilot comparative study of the responses of patients with schizophrenic spectrum disorders and a group of conditionally healthy individuals using the author's projective technique aimed at identifying violations of social cognition. The results obtained confirm the assumption about the effectiveness and sensitivity of the projective test in relation to disorders of social cognition in people with schizophrenic spectrum disorders. The results also identify a tendency to a greater number of errors in relation to probable prognosis among the patients.
