Journal History

The first issue was published on December 31, 2009. The founder and the first editor-in-chief of the publication, associate professor Uryvaev Vladimir Anatolyevich (from 2009 to 2022).  The magazine was one of the first to choose the "online" format of the publication. During its existence, the magazine has already been requested more than 2.75 million times, by visitors from more than 50 countries. This is facilitated by the fact that the magazine operates in the "open access" mode, visiting and full acquaintance with all materials is free of charge. The first issue opened with an article dedicated to the Stalin Prize-winning surgeon V.Ya. Voino-Yasenetsky, who received recognition as St. Luke.

From this issue, the tradition was laid to accompany each issue with a portrait of a scientist who made a significant contribution to the formation of Russian medical (clinical) psychology. The Scientific and Editorial Board, which forms the publishing policy of the journal, is headed by the Rector of Yaroslavl State Medical University, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences Alexander Leonidovich Khokhlov. 

In accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation on Mass Media (Mass Media), the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications (Roskomnadzor) 10/27/2023 The online publication has been re-registered and has been assigned the registration number El No. FS77-86074
