Aim and Scope
The most important tasks of the journal are: generalization of scientific and practical achievements in the field of clinical psychology, as well as improving the scientific and practical qualifications of specialists in medical (clinical) psychology.
The scientific concept of the publication involves the publication of modern achievements in the field of clinical psychology, the results of scientific research, the results of national and international clinical trials.
Both domestic and foreign scientists and doctors and clinical psychologists working in this field, as well as specialists in related specialties, are invited to publish in the journal.
The journal highlights the current problems of fundamental and applied research in the field of medical (clinical) psychology in Russia.
The journal publishes the results of fundamental research, original articles on topical issues of psychology in medical practice, descriptions of clinical observations, lectures and literature reviews, as well as the results of clinical and experimental studies. The editorial board of the journal pays great attention to the issues of personnel training in the specialty "Clinical Psychology".

This is an open access journal. All articles are made freely available to readers immediatly upon publication.
Our open access policy is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition - it means that articles have free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

Publishing Ethics
The Scientific and Editorial Board of the online scientific journal Medical Psychology in Russia is guided in its work by international ethical rules of scientific publications, including rules of decency, confidentiality, supervision of publications, consideration of possible conflicts of interest, etc. In its activities, the editorial board follows the recommendations of the Committee on Ethics of Scientific Publications (Committee on Publication Ethics), the Guidelines on Ethics of Scientific Publications (Publishing Ethics Resource Kit) of Elsevier publishing house and, in particular, the Code of Ethics of Scientific Publications, developed and approved by the Committee on Ethics of Scientific Publications (www.publicet.org/code ).

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in a reviewer’s own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.
Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
Plagiarism detection
“Medical Psychology in Russia" use native russian-language plagiarism detection software Antiplagiat to screen the submissions. If plagiarism is identified, the COPE guidelines on plagiarism will be followed.
Preprint and postprint Policy
Prior to acceptance and publication in “Medical Psychology in Russia", authors may make their submissions available as preprints on personal or public websites.
As part of submission process, authors are required to confirm that the submission has not been previously published, nor has been submitted. After a manuscript has been published in “Medical Psychology in Russia" we suggest that the link to the article on journal's website is used when the article is shared on personal or public websites.

The publication of the journal is financed by the funds of the parent organization, at the expense of the publisher, publication of advertising materials, publication of reprints, article processment charges.
